Today (28 May 2025) officials were notified by the Koh Sathon Subdistrict Administrative Organization, Tak Bai District, Narathiwat Province, that there had been a shooting of participants in an anti-drug sports competition held by the Koh Sathon Subdistrict Administrative Organization, Tak Bai District, Narathiwat Province, causing athletes and villagers watching the competition to run away. After the incident, it was found that Mr. Muhammad Sukree Ha, a teacher at Koh Sathon School who was a competition committee member, and two other volunteer territorial defense officers were injured.
